1st visit 1982 and internally no change since then and the hotel overall looking a bit tired especially the bathrooms and needs some serious room upgrading and general TLC .However presentation ,service and restaurant food standard still quite excellent and our waiter was friendly and helpful .The quiet location beside the lake is lovely for walks and very relaxing and the spa , unchanged since the 70s , is still great with large pool and most enjoyable to spend time in .

It was clean, had character and was refurbished to a good taste which fitted in with its historic interior. They are very dog friendly. I could bring dog into the restaurant and to the breakfast area. The location overlooking the lake and being next to a river.

Nice touch was lots of biscuits and chocolates on the table in the room for us, maybe because it was Christmas Day. The room was huge, and very nice. The pool and sauna were nice and quiet. Big lake behind that is a nice walk around. Nespresso machine in room. Breakfast was OK, good coffee.

Breakfast was great. the location was great for walks with our dog and to discover the area. Our room was very nice and we were still comfy with our dog and a bed for our daughter.

Breakfast, location and overall facilities were excellent. Staff were very friendly. Loved the way our dog was made to feel so welcome. The restaurant menu was a bit limited and staff appeared overworked but very nice.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast range was great with many options. The pool and sauna were also good.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. The cushions are very soft, the bed too hard for us. After a bad night and asking for for us more comfortable cushions the staff provided these. Sometimes it took quite a while before the staff helped us. Several staff members are dual students. Very nice swimming pool and sauna. Excellent location between the city of Munster and the country side.
